Data can get mixed up. Imports can be wrong. Numbers can land on the wrong day or the wrong time. You know you — you know your body better than any app ever will. TheFitBoss is a tool to help you see your patterns and stay organized. It does not diagnose, treat, or tell you what to do. Always confirm with your own eyes and your own care team before making any decision about insulin, food, or medication.
Our hope for you
We built TheFitBoss because managing type 1 is relentless, and good information makes hard days easier. We genuinely want you to thrive — to spot trends, celebrate wins, and feel more in control. That's the whole point.
What TheFitBoss is
A logbook, a calculator helper, and a way to visualize the data you put in. Every estimate the app shows — corrections, averages, trends, reports — is just math applied to yournumbers. Estimates are starting points for a conversation with your care team, never orders.
What TheFitBoss is not
It is not a medical device, not a substitute for professional care, and not a source of medical advice. It does not monitor you in real time and it will not catch an emergency. If you feel unwell or your numbers alarm you, trust yourself and get help — don't wait on an app.
Limitation of liability
You use TheFitBoss at your own risk. To the fullest extent allowed by law, TheFitBoss and the people behind it are not liable for anything arising from your use of the app — including inaccurate, missing, delayed, or mixed-up data; errors in imports or calculations; downtime; or any decision made based on what you saw here. The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Your health decisions are yours and your care team's — not ours.
Your responsibilities
Keep your login private, enter your data honestly, double-check anything important, and never let the app replace your judgment or your doctor. If something looks off, it probably is — fix it or ask us.
Coaches
Coaches are welcome, and membership is free for coaches who reach out through Coaches Corner. Anyone you invite to view your data sees it because you chose to share it, and you can revoke access at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app grows. We'll keep the spirit the same: honest, friendly, and on your side.
