The promise, in plain English
- Your data is yours. We only keep the data you keep. Delete it and it's gone.
- We sell to nobody. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information — ever.
- We don't advertise to you. No ad networks, no selling your attention.
- We only use your data to run the app for you — to show you your numbers, trends, and reports.
What we store
TheFitBoss stores the information you choose to log: glucose readings, insulin doses, meals, vitals, medications, reminders, and the notes you add. We also store your account basics (name, email, and a securely hashed password) so you can sign in. If you connect a device or upload a screenshot, we store what you import so it shows up in your history.
How we use it
We use your data for one purpose: to give it back to you in a useful form — charts, trends, summaries, and reports you can share with whomever you choose (for example, your own doctor or a coach you invite). We do not profile you for advertising and we do not build products by selling your information.
Who can see it
You. That's the default. If you invite a coach through Coaches Corner or share a report, you are choosing to share — and you can stop sharing at any time. Our team may access data only when strictly necessary to operate the service or when you ask us for support.
Keeping it safe
We use reputable, secured infrastructure and industry-standard protections. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual entries any time, and you can ask us to delete your account. When you delete data, we remove it from the live app. Backups made for reliability age out over time.
